Strategies, analyses and discussions about competitive Pokémon VGC
Hello.
Our goal is to make the forum an increasingly active and knowledge-rich space. To encourage participation and recognize our most dedicated members, I am launching a reward.
The first user to reach the Champion level on our forum will receive a $50 Gift Card.
How to track your progress and level up You can monitor your progress and check how close you are to reaching the Champion level directly on your profile.
To level up, the best approach is to maintain consistent and high-quality interaction:
Campaign rules
It is worth noting that, in the future, we will possibly have more events and prizes like this one. Our idea is to build an increasingly friendly forum, where people truly interact, talk, and collaborate with each other.
The campaign is already live. We count on everyone's participation in the forum!
Oq vcs acham?
Why does it get all hundreds? Because it has a crab I presume.
Hello everyone, I would like to request a review for this team.
My main questions when playing with it are finding the right first pick, I feel like always loosing first pick guess in many situations like against another sun team or mega gengar teams.
Also, I lack vision regarding keeping the sun on the field and properly using it, how to handle "slow tempo" when ennemy cycle protect and such.
I don't have much experience with incineroar, I used kingambit before but I feel like incineroar can bring more support for my damage dealers, where kingambit often just died too quickly.
As a last note, I'm not sure about the stats Whimsicott is best with, I played it speed and SpA, but I almost never find an important moment in the game (almost everytime in the first turns) where these two stats make a difference, because of prankster and tailwind, so I will try a few matches with a bulkier stat spread and see if it gives me a better advantage.
Thank you very much for your advices.
what do you guy think about this team?
first team I create. I start play this game in April. Bellibolt is such a fun and unexpected Pokémon. Obviously, I'm a beginner, so any advice would be appreciated. Sometime you can play something that isn't always the only meta
I was trying a three starter team sceptile typlosion empoleon.
One idea of mega manectric and mega lucario
Second idea mega sceptile and mega lucario with jolteon replacing mega manectric.
Is second idea better than why pokmeon i can switch gliscor for if there is a better option like alolan ninetails or garchomp or staraptor or kingambit
Hi, just got into VGC a while back and this is my first time building a team.
I wanted to build a balance team that has answers into most of the teams I see on ladder while still having the firepower to hit back.
Froslass: main goal is weather control + veil for extra bulk. main answer for dragonite, garchomp, etc.
Sneasler: fake out support with threat into arch, floette, and kingambit, poison touch set to hopefully OHKO whimsicott with focus sash.
Sinistcha: imprison tech to counter trick room, as well as a good bring into rain.
Blaziken: main carry vs sand teams and the dual weather team that brings venusaur, also attempting to amend the lack of speed control on this team with speed boost.
Rotom-Wash: Answer for charizard/rain/sand teams and an immunity for EQ
Incineroar: Incineroar. good pivot with slow parting shot and intimidate support. Also helps with ghosts since I left out kingambit.
I think two obvious weaknesses are the lack of speed control and a weaker matchup into rain? But I'm not sure if this is correct. I'm thinking about whether I should swap incine for kingambit for better offence but the team is already pretty frail so I think I need the intimidate.
Looking for anything I might've missed or suggestions to make the team better!
I think this site is bugged and it will always display sinistcha with 32hp, 2att, 30def in every team that have sinistcha in it
My lead was jolteon and sceptile
Their lead was sableye and sneasler
Jolteon was selected to discarge and mega sceptile was selected to do earth power on sneasler
Their sableye used priority swagger on sneasler and snealer used directly claw on my mega sceptile. Howw can snealser hit before my jolteon and sceptile ee
I remember swagger does not increase speed and sneasler was no scarfed it had a lum berry
Ohhhhh unburdenn noo sneasler
That's a cool strategy I didn't thought about it during the match. Thank God jolteon paralyzed it. I won the game because of a paralysis.
Hi, I'm new to teambiulding, I'm serching to build a team with Mega-Houndoom. What do you think about this one?
I personally think thats an ok team but the problem is that I can't hit effectivly Charizard. Should I swap sneasler with something to hit fairy and also charizard, like glimmora sash, or maybe try something else?
I am exporting my VGC team for review. What do you think about this team? What improvements do you suggest in the current meta?
To add on it can kill really fast by opening with Charizard-Y and Tyhplosion-H with using both fire spread moves (I.e. Heat Wave and Eruption), I have been encountering rain teams to be about harder to think around (meaning who to bring) but I usually just target their rain setter by bringing out Whimsicott and Incineroar/Garchomp and focus on that or I just bet all in and go into hyper offense anyway.
Please give any suggestions and thoughts about the team!
So this is the first time I've built a team from the ground up.
- Alolan Ninetails act both as a weather denial and my best way to deal with basculegions or dragons;
- Glimmora is great, being abble to deal with threats like the fairy type and also potentially setting up toxic spikes. Also a great answer to snow types;
- Sinistcha is here for a little support and trick room denial (still a matchup I don't like going against). I'm divided between Imprision and matcha gotcha;
- Incineroar does incineroar stuff + great against kingambit and corviknight)
- Dragonite mega sets up tailwind and deal with fighting types, also is kinda bulky and is nice against garchomps
- Garchomp :)
