The Regulation Set M-C of Pokémon Champions is the third official ruleset confirmed in the new game. Mega Evolutions are allowed. Regulation Set M-C is the official format of in-game Ranked Battles from 9 September to 2 December 2026, and will be used in VGC events on the same dates, most notably the 2027 Latin America International Championships (LAIC).
Rillaboom and Baxcalibur will enter the game for this update, as will the brand-new Z Mega Evolutions of Absol, Lucario and Garchomp. Full details will be known soon.
